Grading Guideline Goes Largely Unnoticed

Many students in the Leavey School of Business are still unaware of a grading guideline adopted almost three years ago.

The guideline suggests that in each class, professors do not give any more A's than there are B's, and that the total number of A's and B's should not be any more than 80 percent of the issued grades.

Students Frustrated by Delays in Payroll

Approximately 500 to 700 new students are employed by the university each year, according to Manager of Student Employment Liz Mireles. Many of those who began work last month expressed concern or frustration after not being able to log their hours online or receive payment for weeks into the start of their jobs.
